Spent last night updating an old program I wrote six months or so ago, called OpenTap. It’s intended to read TAP 3.11-files, with regular text output as a result including the structure of the file (start and end of constructed tags and so on).

It worked perfectly. Tested it against live TAP 3.11 files and… got nice results. 🙂 Those nights spent reading specs and writing code weren’t in vain, for sure.
